Trillium Grant Put Towards Restoring Fire Damaged Wesleyville Church

In Local

The Friends of Wesleyville Village has been awarded an Ontario Trillium Foundation Capital Grant of $154,000 to be used towards the restoration of the interior of the fire-damaged village church to meet community needs!

This long-awaited milestone marks a remarkable step forward for our village and community. Work is expected to begin in late fall 2025 and will take about one year to complete.

Once finished, we will once again be able to welcome our amazing community inside this treasured building and return to hosting events in the church space.

This milestone would not have been possible without the incredible support of our community.

Your donations, encouragement, and belief in our vision have carried us to this point and allowed us to prepare the way for the interior restoration.

You are the engine that drives what we do, and we are deeply grateful for your commitment to preserving Wesleyville’s heritage.

We’ll be planning a special celebration to mark this achievement later in the fall, so watch this space for more details.

We look forward to celebrating this milestone with all of you!
