Cobourg’s Dredger Out of Commission – For Now

In Local

(Today’s Northumberland file photo)

Cobourg’s dredger was out of commission for several weeks waiting for a replacement part.

The dredger had completed the required depths earlier in the season before the maintenance was required.

The part was received on June 25 and will be back in service shortly.

It will be transported to Port Hope for a contracted job over the next eight weeks, then will return to complete small jobs until the end of the season and into the Fall.
