Peterborough Police – Five People Charged After Drug Warrant (No Names Released)

Five people are facing charges after the Peterborough Police Service Drug Unit conducted a search warrant recently.

On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, officers with the Drug Unit and Emergency Response Team (ERT) conducted a search warrant at a residence in the Rubidge Street and Townsend Street area.

Officers seized:

Sawed off Shotgun and ammunition
Loaded Glock handgun with ammunition
29.1g of Cocaine
179.5g of Fentanyl
5.7g of Crystal Methamphetamine
Psiloybin (Mushrooms) 231g
$2000 in Canadian Currency
As a result:

A 37-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:

Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammo
Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon x2
Tampering with Firearm Serial Number
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order
The accused is currently bound by a 10-year weapons prohibition order.

The accused was held in custody and appeared in court June 12, 2025.

 

A 36-year-old Peterborough woman was arrested and charged with:

Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammo
Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon x2
Tampering with Firearm Serial Number
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Psilocybin
Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
The accused was held in custody and appeared in court June 12, 2025.

A 48-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:

Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammo
Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon x2
Tampering with Firearm Serial Number
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
The accused was held in custody and appeared in court June 12, 2025.

A 43-year-old Campbellford man was arrested and charged with:

Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammo
Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon x2
Tampering with Firearm Serial Number
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The accused is currently bound by a probation order with the following condition: to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. The accused is also bound by a lifetime weapons prohibition order.

The accused was held in custody and appeared in court June 12, 2025.

A 38-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:

Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammo
Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon x2
Tampering with Firearm Serial Number
Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order
The accused is currently bound by a weapons prohibition order.

The accused was held in custody and appeared in court on June 12, 2025.
