In Local

Rev. Dr. Kevin Fast made a special visit to Baltimore Public School on Friday, June 13, 2025 at the request of his grandson.

Fast has set 33 Guinness World Records from 1998 to 2022 in feats of strength.

His five-year-old grandson named Charlie attends Baltimore Public School and planned the event to promote fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

Fast said Charlie liaised with the principal, prepped his class with YouTube videos, set up the time and place with his Grandpa giving him daily reminders.

Just prior to Fast pulling a fire truck, he answered questions from the students about his career.

The students and teaching staff were much appreciated by the visit of the Fast family including Jacob

Fast who is a Special Constable with the Cobourg Police Service and also performs feats of strength and is a competitor at Highland Games throughout Ontario.
