Breaking News – Emergency Services Attend Rail Crossing in Cobourg

Emergency services were dispatched to the area of the CN Rail crossing on Burnham Street just north of King Street in Cobourg on Friday, June 6, 2025.

Northumberland County Paramedics, Cobourg Fire Department and Cobourg Police arrived quickly on scene to the incident.

Shortly after fire and paramedics left the scene.

Cobourg are conducting an active investigation and it is expected that there will be a police presence for the next several hours and the rail crossing will be closed.

Please avoid the area.
