Cobourg Woman Charged with Uttering Threats
A 48-year-old Cobourg woman has been arrested for uttering threats.

On May 26, 2025, police were called to a residential apartment building on King Street East in Cobourg regarding a landlord-tenant issue. During an interaction, a woman threatened a tenant.

As a result of the investigation, a 48-year-old Cobourg woman was arrested at the scene and charged with Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm. She was released on an Undertaking with a future court date.

 

Two Cobourg Residents Charged Jointly after Fraud Investigation

Two Cobourg residents have been charged following a fraud investigation.

On April 14, 2025, police initiated an investigation into fraudulent purchases made on the victim’s credit card that occurred earlier in the month. Police identified two suspects.

On May 28, 2025, police located a 33-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man, both from Cobourg, who were arrested and jointly charged with ten counts of unauthorized use of a credit card and five counts of possession of property obtained by crime valued under $5,000. The woman was additionally charged with failing to comply with probation.

The woman was held for bail, and the man was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
