Municipality of Port Hope Special Council Meeting

A Special Council Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, 56 Queen Street, Port Hope. The meeting will take place prior to the regular Committee of the Whole meeting which commences at 6:30 p.m.

During the open portion of this Special Council meeting, Council will consider a Staff Report regarding the potential use of Ontario Power Generation (OPG) Funds. Following the consideration of this item, Council will then proceed into a closed session, in accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O., c.25 in order to consider two items pertaining to a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board – Section 239(2)(c) – (Purchase of Road Allowance and Potential Disposition of Land).
