Cameco is teaming up with the Ryan Huffman Foundation as presenting sponsor of their 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament.

The premier event of the year, taking place on Friday, May 9th, 2025, at Dalewood Golf Club, will raise funds to support mental health, addiction and youth in sport initiatives across Northumberland County.

“Cameco is excited to collaborate with the Ryan Huffman Foundation on this year’s tournament,” says
Dale Clark, vice-president of Cameco’s Fuel Services Division.

“Over the last few years, Cameco has prioritized investments into programs and initiatives addressing mental health, and this new partnership enables us to build on this work.”

Since 2019, Cameco has invested more than $400,000 to support mental health programs and initiatives in Northumberland County. Funds for the Cameco Fund for Mental Health have been raised through the Step Up for Mental Health 5km run and annual charity golf tournament. For 2025, Cameco is shifting its efforts and will support the Ryan Huffman Foundation tournament and build on the success of Cameco’s annual charity golf tournament, which will continue to raise funds for the Cameco Fund for Mental Health.

“For many years, we have admired Cameco’s dedication to addressing mental health programs and
initiatives in our community,” says Ryan Huffman, founder of the Ryan Huffman Foundation.

“It is an honour to partner with Cameco in support of a cause that is so meaningful to our two organizations.”

The Ryan Huffman Foundation raises funds for local charities in Northumberland County addressing
mental health, addiction, and the importance of youth in sport.

A signature event of the foundation, its annual golf tournament has raised over $110,000 in the past three years, supporting programs including YMCA Northumberland’s Upturn Program and Northumberland Hills Hospital Mental Health Services.

“Over the past few years Cameco hosted the 5km run to bring together members of our community
around an important cause,” says Clark. “We are proud of what we were able to achieve in this time,
including raising a record $78,000 last year. We look forward to continuing to prioritize Cameco’s Fund for Mental Health in new, collaborative ways.”

The Ryan Huffman Foundation 4th Annual Golf Tournament will feature 18 holes of golf with a power
cart, multiple prize draws and on-course stations creating an exclusive golf experience. Registration is
$300 per player, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and many on-course surprises.
