Video – With the Canadian Flag Upside Down – Is Harwood in Distress?

In Local

The Canadian flag in Harwood seems to be upside down looking over Rice Lake.

Looking up the meaning of it – although it’s not illegal, it is improper flag etiquette.

In extreme situations, it could be interpreted as a signal of distress similar to maritime practice.

The Canadian flag should be displayed with the maple leaf facing upwards and in a manner that befits its importance as a national symbol.

It’s not likely Harwood is in distress, it just might be time for a new flag.
