Peterborough County OPP – Human Remains Found in Otonabee-South Monaghan Township

The Peterborough County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is advising the public about an increased police presence in the area of Fourth Line in Otonabee-South Monaghan Township.

The Peterborough County OPP are currently investigating what is believed to be human remains found in the area. An increased police presence is expected while officers investigate, and the remains are removed from the scene.

There is no threat to public safety, however we request the public’s cooperation in avoiding this area. Updates will be provided as they become available.
