Cobourg’s Santa Claus Parade Brings North Pole to Life on November 30

In Local, Upcoming Events

The Town of Cobourg invites the community to join the festivities at the annual Cobourg Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 6 p.m.

This year’s festive tradition has the theme of Santa’s North Pole. Parade participants have found creative ways to embrace the parade theme and will be incorporating music and lighting into their displays.

The parade route travels along King Street, starting at the library and moving east along King Street through downtown, ending at D’Arcy Street. Parade attendees are reminded to dress warmly and to wear reflective clothing.

Participate in the Parade
The Town of Cobourg is accepting registrations from community organizations, groups and businesses who want to be a part of the parade. Visit www.Cobourg.ca/SantaClausParade for the application form and submit your entry before November 28.

Pre-Parade Fun Zone
This year, Experience Cobourg invites you to the Pre-Parade Fun Zones where you will find Winter Inflatables, hot chocolate, special guests including Sparky and more. Members of the community are invited to come Downtown Cobourg on King Street, out front of Victoria Hall to enjoy eight large winter inflatables, 4 – 5:30 p.m.

Food Bank Donations
The Fare Share Food Bank will once again be collecting non-perishable food items for the food bank. Collection will happen at the beginning of the parade. This year, as well as non-perishable food, cash donations will be accepted.

Letters to Santa
Elves from Canada Post will collect children’s letters to Santa during the start of the parade.
