Video – Sixth Annual Pumpkin Parade Takes Place in Port Hope

In Community, Local

The sixth annual Pumpkin Parade was held in Port Hope on Friday, November 1, 2024.

It’s the sixth year that Critical Mass has presented the event on Lent’s Lane from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The free event gave the community the chance to show off their creative designs and display their jack-o-lanterns for all to see.

At the end of the evening, pumpkins can be gathered up by local farmers to use as feed. Any remaining pumpkins will be composted courtesy of Harnden Haulage, facilitated by the Municipality of Port Hope.

There were micro-short film, along with animation projects displayed onto the Walton Hotel.

Complementary hot chocolate was served with donations to Critical Mass.
