Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged with Trespass by Night, x2 Fail to Comply (No Name Released)

A 32-year-old Cobourg man is facing charges after police investigated a suspicious person on Division Street early Monday morning.

On Monday, October 14, 2024, at approximately 1:00 a.m., police on general patrol observed a man
intentionally loitering on private property next to a residence on Division Street.

After learning the man did not reside at the address, the 32-year-old Cobourg man was arrested. Further
investigation revealed that the man was on house arrest and in breach of his probation order. The man was charged with Trespass by Night and two counts of fail to comply with probation.

The accused was held for a Show Cause Hearing.
