Northumberland Hills Hospital On The Lookout for Volunteers

In Local

Positive results from the September 25 volunteer recruitment fair were reported to the Northumberland Hills Hospital board at its October meeting.

And the NHH Auxiliary is reporting good results since they launched their own recruitment campaign last year.

“With the exception of the NHH Emergency Department and main entrance Inquiry Desk evening and weekend shifts, all other auxiliary volunteer service area schedules are filled and most have float volunteers to support absences,” said the report from President and Chief Executive Officer Susan Walsh.

Walsh also reported a new member of their Patient and Family Advisory Council. But the need for more community members was noted at the meeting.
