Video – End of the Sailing Season – For Some

In Local

Lots of activity at the Cobourg waterfront on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

The annual boat lift marking the end of the season for boating took place on the north wall of Cobourg Harbour.

Numerous boats were lifted out of the water with the help of a crane.

It didn’t seem like the end of the season for some, as a number of people took to the water to enjoy one of the last warm dips in Lake Ontario and there was a strong breeze to enjoy para-sailing along the shoreline.
