Cobourg Police – Woman Arrested for Impaired Operation (No Name Released)

A 58-year-old woman was charged with driving impaired after police received a report of a possible impaired driver Saturday morning.

On Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 9:40 a.m., police received a call for a report of a possible impaired driver.

Police located a vehicle matching the provided description parked on Durham Street with the driver inside the vehicle who was exhibiting signs of impairment by alcohol.

As a result of the police investigation, a 58-year-old Cobourg woman was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired and operating while impaired with a blood-alcohol concentration over 80 milligrams.

The accused was released on an Undertaking with a court date of September 11, 2024
