Video – Easy to See Why It’s Called a Salmon “Run”

At times in creeks and rivers in Port Hope and Cobourg it’s easy to tell why it’s called a salmon “run.”

On Monday, August 19, 2024 at times there were so much water spraying as the fish made their way it up the rivers it gave the appearance of a run.

The salmon also have to fight their way upstream and over obstacles along the way, but in deeper water they rest for the next batch of obstacles and rapids.
