The Town of Cobourg would like to advise residents that filming for the third season of the Netflix TV series ‘Ginny & Georgia’ will be taking place in Cobourg from August 26-30, 2024.
There will be approximately 120 crew members, 50 background performers and 40 production trucks. American flags will replace the Canadian flags flying from Victoria Hall and on King Street West.
Filming Locations include:
- Victoria Hall, 55 King Street West – exterior
- The El, 74 King Street West
- Sidewalk on King Street West between Hibernia Street and 3rd Street
- Victoria Park
Filming Schedule:
- Filming preparation will take place on Monday, August 26 and Tuesday, August 27 (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
- Filming will take place on Wednesday, August 28 (7 a.m. to 11 p.m.)
- Tear down will take place Thursday, August 29 and Friday, August 30 (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
Film Production Vehicles Parking Areas
- Second Street parking lot, northwest portion only
- Albert Street parking lot
- Meter parking spaces on Second Street, King Street West (various spaces)
Parking meters that will be put out of use for filming will be paid for by G2G Series 3 Inc. for all the time used.
Traffic
Please note that on Wednesday, August 28 there will be intermittent traffic stoppages on King Street and surrounding streets as required.
