Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged with Theft of Motor Vehicle and Fail To Attend Court (No Name Released)

A 50-year-old Cobourg man faces charges after a police investigation into a stolen vehicle.

On April 2, 2024, police opened an investigation into the theft of a motor vehicle in the Town of Cobourg.

Through the investigation, police identified a suspect and sought a warrant for their arrest. The vehicle was located and returned to its owner on July 12, 2024.

On Saturday, July 20, 2024, police located and arrested a 50-year-old Cobourg man who was charged with theft of the motor vehicle and fail to attend court.

The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
