Video – Cobourg Fire Department Responds to Encampment

The Cobourg Fire Department responded to the encampment located at 390 King Street East for reports of a woodstove burning outside a tent.

When the fire department arrived at approximately 8:30 p.m. they were met by security who directed them to the area – firefighters didn’t locate any fire.

A barrier has been set up, just north of King Street East to the entrance of the former youth facility.

Security guards are not allowing any vehicles to enter the premises other than emergency vehicles.
