Video – Eight Cygnets Out for a Stroll at Nawautin Sanctuary in Grafton

In Local

The Nawautin Sanctuary south of Grafton is home to eight cygnets as of Thursday, May 9, 2024.

Frequent visitors say the cygnets came into this world sometime on Thursday which is much earlier than previous years at the sanctuary.

Mom and dad took them out of the nest for one of their first walks across the pathway. Some of the cygnets kept falling as they learned to walk trying to keep up with mom and dad.

After a short swim and walk they once again settled back into their nest with mom and dad close by.
