Belleville Police Service – Residential Fire

On the 8th of May at 12:34am, the Belleville Police Service and Belleville Fire Department responded to a residence located at 1149 Highway # 37 Belleville, for a report of a structure fire.

When police and fire arrived, the residence was fully engulfed in flames. The residence was empty at the time of the fire and there are no reported injuries. The Belleville Police Service, Belleville Fire Department and the Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office continue to investigate the cause of the fire.

Police are asking anyone with information, home video or vehicle video in the area of Highway # 37 and Harmony Road area to email bps.tips@bellevilleps.ca, call 613-966-0882 ext.3600 or Quinte Crime Stoppers.

The Belleville Police Service can confirm that the residence located at 1149 Highway #37 is the same residence that was involved in the shooting occurrence on the 29th of April 2024.

This incident still remains under investigation by the Belleville Police Service’s Criminal Investigation Division. Police continue to seek witnesses and any video related to the occurrence.
