Shortly before 6 a.m. firefighters were dispatched to a garbage bin on fire at the rear of a security business.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire.

There was a considerable amount of smoke inside the business, but damage was confined to the siding and roll-up door.

Cobourg Police are investigating and have security video of the rear of the business.

Police have not issued a press release at this time.
