Video – Santa Claus Visits Cobourg For Annual Parade

In Community, Editor Choice, Local

Santa Claus made a visit to Cobourg for his annual parade on Saturday, December 2, 2023.

King Street from William Street to D’Arcy Street was packed with fans wanted to catch a glimpse of Santa and to enjoy the parade.

From the bands to floats it was an amazing parade and the perfect weather.

This years theme was “Stories Come to life…” from holiday movies to classic holiday cartoons.

Since 1955 the Cobourg Santa Claus Parade has kicked off the Christmas season thanks to the Lions Club of Cobourg.

In 2020, the Town of Cobourg took over the responsibility for the parade under the guidance and leadership of the Lions Club.

The parade was over an hour long, but no one seemed to mind and everyone seemed to be in the Christmas spirit.
