Santa Claus Comes to Brighton Kicking Off a Number of Parade Visits in the Area

In Editor Choice, Local

The first Santa Claus Parade of the season for the area kicked off in Brighton on Friday, November 17, 2023.

Starting sharply at 7 p.m. with siren’s wailing fire trucks of all types, marching bands, paramedics, St. John Ambulance, bag pipes, floats, hockey teams, postal carriers and many, many more floats took to the streets of downtown Brighton for a beautiful parade down the main street.

Children young and not so young weren’t disappointed – Santa and Mrs. Claus waved to their adoring fans from atop the sleigh as it headed west along County Road 2 at the end of the parade
