Exclusive – Video – Transport Hauling Possible Stolen Vehicles Pulled Over on Highway 401 at Cobourg

The off-ramp of Highway 401 at Burnham Street in Cobourg was lit up like a Christmas tree after approximately eight OPP cruisers pulled over a transport truck that is believed to have contained stolen vehicles on Thursday night (November 2, 2023).

At approximately 11 p.m. Northumberland OPP and Whitby OPP pulled over a transport on the eastbound off-ramp at Burnham Street.

Inside the shipping container were believed to be a number of stolen vehicles.

One person was arrested at the scene.

The investigation is believed to have been generated from the Toronto area and Northumberland OPP had few details.
