Quinte West OPP – Police Asking for Publics Help

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating multiple thefts that occurred in Trenton.

On August 1, 2023, at approximately 8:00 a.m., an unknown male attended a business on North Murray Street in Trenton, where several items were purchased with a stolen credit card. Through investigation police learned that the same person may have been involved in other thefts. Images of the male were captured and assistance is being sought from the public in identifying the person of interest with the following descriptions:

 

The male is described as:

·        White

·        Slim build

·        Short, Brown Hair

·        Approximately 177 cms (5’10”)

·        Wearing camo shirt and dark pants

 

The investigation is ongoing, and any person with information regarding this incident or the person(s) responsible is requested to contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222- 8477 (TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward.
