Quinte West OPP – Four People Charged in Drug Investigation (Names Released)

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged four people following the execution of two search warrants in Quinte West.

On July 25, 2023, at approximately 09:00 p.m., the OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) assisted by the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant at a residence on George Street, Trenton, as well as on a vehicle that was located on Roseland Drive, Quinte West, as part of a drug trafficking investigation.  ;As a result, four people were arrested and a substantial quantity of suspected cocaine and fentanyl was confiscated.

Zack DIXON, 27 years old from Quinte West was charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Opioid

Brooke GIGNAC, 34 years old from Belleville was charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Opioid
  • Fail to comply with release order

Andrea, PELRINE, 27 years old from Quinte West was charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Opioid

Michael STACEY, 33 years old from Brighton was charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Opioid
  • Fail to comply with release order

Zack DIXON was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on a future court date. The other three accused were held for a bail hearing.
