Tim Hortons Camp Day Coming Up Next Week

In Local

Tim Hortons Camp Day is coming up next week with 100% of coffee proceeds going to Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.

Team Captain for Tim Hortons on William Street in Cobourg ,Xavier Kerr said, “we are trying to donate as much as we can for kids that can’t go to camp by selling bracelets, socks, badges and we also round up quarters. All different ways to try and raise as much money as we can.”

Xavier remembers camping when he was younger.

“I think it’s an experience you wouldn’t want to miss out on because some kids can’t afford to go to camp.”

No donation is to small said Xavier and he’d appreciate it if people could help out with what they can.

Tim Hortons Camp Day is a two-week fundraising drive, but Camp Day is on Wednesday, July 19 where there will be a lot of activities taking place.

“We’ve going to have people volunteering with activities and in the store. We’re also going to play board games and it’s just going to be a lot of fun.”
