Pride Flag Raised at YMCA Northumberland

It was wonderful to see so many people coming together to show their support for the LGBTQ2S+ community at the YMCA Northumberland’s Pride Flag Raising Ceremony on Friday, June 2, 2023.

Eric Mejorado, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lead welcomed guests from Cobourg Police Service, Port Hope Police Services, YMCA staff and volunteers, and some special guests. Land Acknowledgement was given by Kim Jaye followed by Ashley Bouman from PFLAG Cobourg and Port Hope sharing remarks.
