Family, friends and a few politicians helped celebrate Donna Steeves 100th birthday in Cobourg.

Brighton Mayor Brian Ostrander, Cobourg Deputy Mayor Nicole Beatty, along with Councillors Adam Bureau and Miriam Mutton visited Steeves at the Golden Plough Lodge on Saturday, May 20, 2023 along with family members to wish her the best on her birthday.

Steeves spent most of her life in the Brighton area, but just recently moved into the Golden Plough Lodge.

Steeves was so happy with the turnout and people that came that it brought joyous tears.
