Quinte West OPP – Driver Charged with Impaired (Name Released)

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges in an impaired driving investigation.

On April 5, 2023, at approximately 8:00 p.m., officers were at a business on Glen Miller Road, Trenton. A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle in the parking lot. An investigation led to the driver being arrested.

Dustin, Cole, 42 years old from Belleville, has been charged with the following offences:

  • Operatio n while impaired – Blood alcohol over 80 – Criminal Code
  • Breach of probation order – Provincial Offences Act

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on May 4, 2023. Additionally, the vehicle was impounded for seven days, and their licence was suspended for 90 days.
