Families Invited to Play Together and Win with EarlyON’s Family Fun Bingo Competition

In Local, Upcoming Events

In celebration of Family Day, EarlyON Child and Family Centres invite families with young children in Northumberland County to participate in their Family Fun Bingo challenge. This free, county-wide challenge encourages families to complete fun activities together throughout February and March, to make lasting memories exploring, learning, and playing together. All participants will receive a small prize for participation and the chance to win a family fun gift pack, valued at over $200.

To participate in the challenge, families can grab a copy of EarlyON Northumberland’s Family Fun Bingo card online or at their local EarlyON Child and Family Centre. Participants can mark off spaces on the card by completing the activity written in the space — these activities include options that can be completed online, at home or by attending one of our free local EarlyON programs.
EarlyON Child and Family Centres offer free programs for parents, caregivers and young children under 6 years old, to laugh, be curious, play and learn together. With eight EarlyON centres located throughout Northumberland and additional outreach programs at partner locations, including local libraries and community centres, EarlyON Northumberland offers a wide range of programs to meet the needs of young families.

Their program offerings include fun family programs such as indoor or outdoor exploration, family hikes, visits to local attractions, and programs featuring Indigenous culture and teachings, as well as informative programming for parents, such as childbirth and prenatal programs, programs for new parents, and guest visits from local healthcare experts.

Families who get a ’bingo’ by completing a line on their Family Fun bingo card — vertically, horizontally or diagonally — can submit their completed bingo card to their local EarlyON Educator from February 21 to March 31, 2023 to receive a small prize and to be entered into a random draw for the chance to win the grand prize, which includes a 2023 Ontario Parks pass and a $100 Indigo gift card.

For more information and to download a copy of the Northumberland EarlyON Family Fun Bingo card, visit Northumberland.ca/EarlyON. Print copies are also available for pick up at your local EarlyON Child and Family Centre.
