City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service – Lindsay Driver Charged with Impaired (Name Released)

On Friday February 17, 2023 at 12:37AM the Kawartha Lakes Police Service received a call from a concerned citizen reporting a possible impaired driver.

The caller, reported the vehicle struck multiple parked vehicles in a parking lot on Melbourne Street East in Lindsay.

Officers located the vehicle and while speaking with the driver, observed signs of impairment.

As a result of an investigation the driver was placed under arrest.

44-year-old Peter Green of Lindsay has been charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on March 30, 2023.
