Update – Death Investigation in Port Hope Deemed as Non-Suspicious

Northumberland OPP say a death investigation has been deemed as “non-suspicious,” in Port Hope.

One January 9, 2023 at approximately 1:44 p.m. police were notified a male was discovered deceased near a parked vehicle on Harris Road in Port Hope.

The area was cordoned off and the Northumberland OPP Crime Unit took over the investigation.

On Tuesday, January 10, 2023, Northumberland OPP the scene has been released and the death was treated as “non-suspicious.”
