Quinte West OPP – Grinch Visits Frankford and Steals Christmas Lights

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a mischief, and theft, in relation to a Christmas light display at the Frankford Tourist Park.

On November 28, 2022, Quinte West OPP received a complaint of damage caused to the Christmas light display where some of the displays were knocked down and trampled on. In addition, it was reported that someone had stolen the G rinch display board. It is believed the incident occurred sometime during the evening hours of 27 November, 2022 or the early morning of 28 November, 2022.

Anyone with information regarding the mischief, or who may know the whereabouts of the Grinch display is asked to contact the Quinte West OPP at 1-888-310-1122.  Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222- 8477 (TIPS).
