Graffiti Artist Helps Create Magic in Cobourg

In Local, Upcoming Events

A Oshawa graffiti artist is once again in Cobourg creating something special for Christmas Magic.

Finishing up at the Pine Ridge Vet Clinic on Ontario Street in Cobourg recently, owner of The Paint Factory, Chad Tyson was busy working in the Memorial Arena on Monday, November 21, 2022 creating elaborate artwork that will be shown in the bandshell in Victoria Park.

Today’s Northumberland got a sneak peak at the artwork, but promised not to show a great deal.

The Christmas Magic Light Ceremony takes place on Friday, November 25 starting at 6 p.m. at the Rotary Harbourfront Park behind Victoria Hall.

After the lights are turned on, Santa will lead the crowd to Victoria Park where 200,000 lights will be turned on for all to enjoy.

Downtown shops will be open late and there will be plenty of dining options.
