In Editor Choice, Local

Ninety-four people from over 20 different countries took the Oath of Citizenship in Victoria Hall on Saturday, November 19, 2022.

Among those in attendance for the ceremony were family of the attendees along with Northumberland County Warden Bob Crate and Cobourg Mayor Lucas Cleveland and Tanya Wills who were escorted in along with the Presiding Official, Judge Hardish Dhaliwal.

The Oath of Citizenship took place for the nearly 100 citizens.

As the new citizens of Canada repeated their Oath of Citizenship, it was easy to see in their eyes how proud they were to be part of Canada.

And the smiles after as shown on the video and in the photos is clearly evident of the pride they have for being Canadians.
