Cobourg Police Services Board Releases Draft 2023 Operating Budget for Public Input

Cobourg Police Service budget is scheduled for approval at the November board meeting

COBOURG (October 17, 2022) — The Cobourg Police Services Board (the Board) Finance Committee, with the assistance of the Cobourg Police Service Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), created the draft operating budget. Chief Paul VandeGraaf and CAO Roger Ramkissoon presented the draft budget to the Board at a special meeting on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.

“The Board is pleased to provide a draft operating budget to the community for a consultation period,” says Chair Dean Pepper, Cobourg Police Services Board. “In every decision, we look to move towards our strategic outcomes and support excellence in policing while remaining accountable to the taxpayer. We encourage community members to provide comments and feedback on the draft budget.”

The community is invited to provide input on the Cobourg Police Service draft 2023 operating budget. To view the draft budget, visit cobourgpoliceservice.com. Note that all 2023 budgeted numbers are estimates only and are subject to change during deliberations.

Community feedback will be shared with the Board for consideration as budget planning continues.
