Arcing Wires Cause Power Outage in Hamilton Township

A number of home were without power resulting from hydro wires down in Hamilton Township on Thursday, October 13, 2022.

At approximately 6:15 p.m., Hamilton Township Fire Department was dispatched to the area of Division Street North at Castlehill Drive for hydro wires on the ground arcing.

Firefighters cordoned off the area and waited for Hydro One to respond to deal with the problem.

By 9:30 p.m. the issue was fixed.
