Cobourg Resident Wins $77,777 Top Prize with INSTANT Diamonds

In Local

Corrine Mueller of Cobourg is $77,777 richer after winning the top prize with INSTANT DIAMOND 7s (Game #2331).

Corrine, a building manager, says this is her first time winning the lottery. “It was 2 a.m. when I actually played my ticket and realized I won big! My heart was beating so fast – I was so excited,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her big cheque.

The 48-year-old mother of five says her husband didn’t believe her when she told him about the big win. “We always joke that we have a winning ticket, so of course he thought I was joking again,” she said. “That’s when he checked for himself and we hugged each other and jumped up and down! It was great!”

Corrine plans to go on a cruise and put a down payment on a house and a new car with her winnings.

OLG is booking in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. We strongly encourage those with claims between $1,000 and $49,999.90 to submit them online or mail them in.
