Driver Suffers Minor Injuries After Vehicle Strikes Traffic Signal Pole in Cobourg

The driver of a car suffered minor injuries after the vehicle struck a traffic light signal pole on Sunday, September 4, 2022 in Cobourg.

Shortly after 4 p.m. emergency services were dispatched to the intersection of Division and Elgin Street after a vehicle traveling through the intersection struck a traffic signal pole.

The collision broke the traffic signal light which landed on the roof of the vehicle.

The lone occupant was treated at the scene by paramedics, but wasn’t transported to hospital.

No word on the cause of the collision.
