Quinte West OPP – Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fatal single motor vehicle collision.

On August 30, 2022, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Quinte West OPP, Quinte West Fire and Hastings-Quinte Paramedic Service responded to a single vehicle collision on Lorne Street, near County Road 40 in Quinte West. Information was learned that the vehicle was initially trave ling on County Road 40, left the roadway and collided into a ditch.

Larry Brian ROBIDOUX, 47 years old from Quinte West was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed until approximately 4:30 a.m. while the OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Collision Reconstructionist investigated the scene.
