Kelly’s Homelike Inn in Cobourg Celebrates 90th Anniversary

In City Hall, Community, Local

Cobourg Mayor John Henderson and Councillor Adam Bureau make a special presentation to a local business on Saturday, August 20, 2022.

Kelly’s Homelike Inn located on Third Street is celebrating their 90th year in business and Henderson stopped by with a cake and certificate in honour of the celebration.

The certificate signed by Henderson said:

“On behalf of Cobourg Town Council and senior staff, I extend congratulations to you and your ninetieth year in business in Cobourg!
Over ninety years, I cannot imagine the changes that your family has witnessed in Cobourg and the thousands of people that you have met through your business.
Kelly’s Homelike Inn is an “institution” in our town, and I cannot imagine Cobourg without it! We owe you a debt of gratitude that cannot be repaid but is most certainly acknowledged.
Congratulations on this outstanding milestone:”
