Northumberland OPP Investigating Fatal Collision in Campbellford

Members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a fatal collision involving a motorcycle that has County Road 30 in the Town of Campbellford closed.

 On Saturday July 23, 2022, at approximately 2:00 p.m., the Northumberland OPP responded to a single motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle that occurred on County Road 30 in the area of County Road 35.

A s a result of the collision, the lone driver of the motorcycle was transported to hospital where they were pronounced deceased.

County Road 30 at County Road 35 will remain closed for several hours while OPP Technical Collision Investigators conduct their investigation.

The OPP Traffic Collision Investigation (TCI) team was brought in to investigate. The investigation is continuing and anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact the Northumberland OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
