Tim Hortons Camp Day was held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 in Canada.
In Cobourg outlets held special events throughout the day.
At the Tim Hortons location on William Street in Cobourg, employees were “treated” with a pie in the face for their fundraising efforts while Cobourg Police took donations from people in the drive-thru.
At the County Road 2 location in Cobourg by Canadian Tire, Hunter Hertendy raised approximately $900 through donations and he was “pied” numerous times by staff.
“I like to mess with people at work,” said Hertendy.
So on Camp Day it was a chance, “to let people return the favour.”
Camp Day is held every year at Tim Hortons locations.
Funds raised give youth access to a better future through Tim Hortons camp-based, multi-year leadership development program.
Since Tims Camps began, over 300,000 youth have experienced a confidence-building, life-changing experience.
Tims Camps programs run year-round – in the community, at school and at seven camps across North America.
