Northumberland OPP – Serious ATV Collision in Port Hope

On June 11 2022, at 11:23 pm, members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Port Hope Fire and Northumberland Emergency Medical Services (EMS), attended the scene of a single motor vehicle collision involving an ATV that occurred in the County Rd 2 and Sawmill Rd area in Port Hope.

The driver of the ATV was transported to the hospital from the scene and was subsequently airlifted by Ornge to another medical facility to receive further medical treatment for serious injuries.

The investigation remains open while OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) members conduct an investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
