Fire Destroys Home in Alderville

There were no injuries, but a house was destroyed by fire in Alderville on Thursday, June 9, 2022.

Alnwick/Haldimand Township Fire Department were dispatched at 1 p.m. to an address on Dibikad Boulevard in Alderville.

The caller reported the roof was on fire, but the three occupants were out of the home.

When fire crews arrived on scene, the entire home was engulfed in flames.

Trent Hills along with Hamilton Township Fire Department were called for tanker support and manpower.

It’s believed the fire started at the rear of the residence and spread up into the roof and the rest of the home.

An Amazon driver was given a warning about driving through the fire scene, including numerous fire apparatus, paramedics and police.
