A number (8-10) of electric vehicles (EVs) will be on display by owners and local dealers. Four vehicles will be available for test drives from Plug’n Drive https://www.plugndrive.ca/ .

Several sustainable organizations have been invited to provide displays and/or presentations, including Sustainable Cobourg, Port Hope For Future, Save Our Trees Pt. Hope, Blue Dot, Ganaraska Conservation Authority, Council of Canadians and Lakefront Utilities.

Also invited are representatives from the Federal and Provincial Governments and candidates, Northumberland County and Town of Cobourg Council.

The focus of the event is how electrification of the transportation system and other sustainable activities can help reduce our impact on climate change.
