CKL Police Service – Patient Charged for Assaulting Nurse

On March 30, 2022 the Kawartha Lakes Police responded to the Ross Memorial Hospital to investigate an alleged assault.

The investigating officer learned that a patient had thrown a glass, striking a nurse in the head.

The patient has been charged with assault and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay at a later date to answer to the charges.

The name of the accused is not being released at this time.
